About the Guild

The Wisconsin Artisan Cheesemaker Guild brings current and beginning Wisconsin artisan and farmstead cheesemakers together for networking and educational opportunities. We are a member-based organization with annual dues.

While other state cheesemaker guilds encourage consumers and/or supplier members to join, the Wisconsin Guild is only for current and beginning Wisconsin cheesemakers. We are a sister organization to Wisconsin Cheese Originals, a 200-strong membership organization catering to cheese education for consumers and cheese industry members. Together, we are dedicated to celebrating Wisconsin artisan and farmstead cheesemakers.

All Wisconsin farmstead and artisan beginning and current cheesemakers are invited to join the Guild. Annual dues are $150. Each member company pays only one annual fee. That means if your company has two or more employees, you only pay $150, and all employees are invited to attend or participate in all activities. Some activities, such as specific educational workshops or tours, have additional fees to cover expenses.

What does membership include? Guild members are invited to educational and networking events. All members receive a quarterly newsletter.

How do I join? To request a member application, contact Jeanne Carpenter, Executive Director.

How do I renew? To renew your annual membership, you may do so online with a credit card by clicking here. To renew by check, contact Jeanne Carpenter.
